What I liked
A dark comedy chamber drama set during the January 6th insurrection focusing on clueless bit players is a great concept.
What I didn't like
Once the two interns are trapped because of the insurrection, the rest of the plot and character arcs seem largely divorced from the insurrection itself, which feels like a missed opportunity.
My overall impression
“The two worst girls you know are Congressional interns, and stuck in the Capitol on January 6th — except no one bothered to tell them what’s going on.” That logline is a killer premise…a premise that the show, oddly, barely engages with.
