What I liked
This was a night that Gareth Williams stepped in after only 2 rehearsals and had to be on book….well let me say that this production was terrific. In no way did it hamper the pace or chemistry of the cast. Kudos to Gareth and the cast for all being on point and 100% present to keep it together. Bloody well done.
What I didn't like
I received an email explaining that Gareth was on book and replacing the lead character Derek. Fine, good to know. But the tone of the email was dire and not encouraging. It seemed a warning. It shouldn’t have been. What an exciting night it was and I am so glad I went.
My overall impression
A terrific show, fun writing, and great direction. Wonderful use of the space. The cast… wonderful! Jeffrey Johnson, Carolina Rodriguez, Joesy de Palo, and Gareth Williams were splendid!! A great night of theater.
