Josiah moved through various dynamic characters that he brought to life in 3-second costume changes with incredible physical work, accent work, and heart. There wasn’t a single break in the 90 minute show. You could feel Josiah’s professionalism and attention to detail.
What I didn't like
There were transitions that might of been better explained to the audience, although I don’t know if I would have made that choice as the artist. I can understand Josiah’s choice to speak up and not down to the audience as it’s the same choice I would make.
My overall impression
Flayed was incisive, hilarious, deeply personal, meaningfully profound, fabulously acted, and lovingly executed. I was honored to have witnessed Flayed.
