Unsurprisingly knowing Josiah’s body of work, it was spectacular! Flayed brought an intimate look from the lens of personal conflict, relationship and elimination of character that goes with religious conditioning. His weaving of biblical and mythological stories to tell his experiences through a myriad of characters and voices associated with his identity were chucked full of truth and feeling anyone could relate to. Each character moved effortlessly in there physical and spiritual embodiments and transitioned artistically tuned with its sound designer and choreography. Flayed was and is, simply a masterpiece of the one man show one can only hope to discover in LA theatre.
