Valley Of Light

What I liked

I loved the casting choices. Each actor understood their characters and the show allowed them to grow and change throughout the show. I loved the music, it was written exceptionally well. The actress who played Fable had great comedic timing, and commanded the show expertly with her guitar.

What I didn't like

The opening number was a little hard to understand, due to the music being a bit loud. This came in and out throughout the show but in general wasn’t an issue.

My overall impression

Valley of light is a musical unlike any other I have experienced. This brilliantly written show offers a unique perspective on a coming of age story/ hero’s journey. The cast did a stellar job of brining the story to life in such a playful and joyous manner while executing the music wonderfully. I can’t recommend this show enough!
