What I liked
As a person of color in the performing arts you’ll feel reenergized to create (well, I felt reenergized to create), Ariel is encouraging us to all move forward. This show which balances humor, sentimentality, and our fears is excellently crafted. Empathy Party is a show which holds so much fearless vulnerability and extends such kindness that it’s impossible to not be overcome by Ariel’s kindness and incredible performance.

My overall impression
Ariel Jimenez has crafted a show which will make you laugh, move you, and allow you to take a breath knowing that while the world has been a difficult place as of late; community exists. We are supported, we are seen, and we can empathize together.
