Be mindful of making remarks about minority groups who don’t get good representation in the first place.
My overall impression
Knowing Ariel as both a friend and an artist, I found his show to be mesmerizing and relatable to people who struggle with long-term loneliness within a media-obsessed world. I liked the beat-making, streams and lots of artistic mediums to convey such a heartfelt message. The physical representation of inner child work manifests well on stage. Thematically, I believe his desire to remove the sentiments of a pity party to an empathy party works. Go watch Empathy Party!
