What I liked

The acting, the use of the stage, the subject.

What I didn't like

With more time and more money perhaps better wigs for Jackie and Marilyn – however, this did not distract from the performance and good wigs cost a lot.

My overall impression

Jackie is an interesting play. Growing up knowing only about this icon through the news but hearing rumors and stories about her and her experiences made this a play I wanted to see. The dialogue of the play all done by one talented actress gives us a glimpse of the cage that Jackie lived in. It seemed all she had to distance herself from the prying eyes of the world was her signature style and attitude. Both distant and intimate. I very much enjoyed this show and like that it was done at Hollywood Fringe because a play like this is not performed much and it was fun to watch.
