I liked that the people who walked in late and given a hard time throughout the show were plants, because that could have given another person some anxiety issued to be pointed out so much. I was relieved that it was actually the writer in those seats and not someone who just happened to be late, I was worried for them. It led to some fun interactions though. I enjoyed being called her babies, it was a lovely way to make your audience feel that connection.
What I didn't like
I felt like the ending needed to give us more of a sense that she, and we were in danger. It was a clever way to end the play, but without more of a sense of urgency, that there was any actual fear of what was about to happen outside, it was not as impactful as it could have been.
My overall impression
Get completely sucked in to this fascinating one woman show where our lead vamps on about the past, present and future for her vampire babies. Creepy fun for everyone.
