There’s a lot of truth in her set – her journey is compelling. She has great timing, and the sharing of various Christian-based relationship books added to the comedic charm of the show.
What I didn't like
Where were the shots of Irish whiskey? (the show’s in the back of an Irish import store)
My overall impression
The lights come up and Cat Alvarado launches into a stand-up routine that is so polished, charming, and consistently funny that you feel like you walked into a Netflix special. Largely centered around her journey as a young Christian wife to the heathen that she is now (just kidding), her set is both intimate and unabashedly raunchy. A natural stage presence, Cat is a must-see for stand-up fans.
