What I liked

The story of the Clancy’s and Tommy Makem isn’t that well known, yet they were significantly influential in driving the revival and renewal of Irish folk music which had been in decline for generations due to the legacy of British domination in Ireland. The revival of Irish Folk Music was an important aspect of the resurgence of Irish cultural awareness. It was accompanied by the restoration of the Irish language to the population in Ireland through school learning, and the surge of interest in ancient Irish folklore and mythology, history and culture that came with it. Other bands like The Dubliners, Planxty, The Bothy Band, and others drove the renewed popularity of Irish folk and traditional music styles. Ireland, its people, and its culture owe these bands a debt of gratitude for the gift they bestowed upon Ireland and the Irish the world over.

What I didn't like

Everything about this show worked flawlessly.

My overall impression

Very well written, produced, directed, performed.
