What I liked

Chazz and Jerry really sold me on their characters’ dynamic and feelings towards one another. Vince and Devin are both seriously messed up individuals, but you can’t help but root for them. They’re just so full of charisma, it is dangerous. Jennifer Sherer and Idrees Degas really complete the group and get to have their moments to shine and are indispensable to the plot. As others have mentioned, the stage design is great! So simple and yet so effective, they really didn’t need more. Excellent directing, producing and writing all around!

What I didn't like

Through no fault of their own, there were some technical difficulties during my showing, but not a big deal for me. As an audience member it took me a second to get on board with the jokes as the story just jumps straight into it and you have a lot of information to absorb before you’re fully caught up with the situation, relationships and tone of the story.

My overall impression

I’m not a dark humor kind of person, and this show still had me grinning the whole time! This is a show written, acted and put together by people who loved what they were making. Everything about what was happening in the story was messed up and terrible, but have a great time watching it. The actors completely sold their characters and the emotional beats unexpectedly struck my heart. It’s a comedy but when there’s the drama, it is hilarious impactful drama! It just just gets better and better as the story moves along and there’s surprises at every corner. Bloog Pig is a guaranteed night of entertainment and laughs.
