What I liked
Rebecca directed this fantastically. Simplicity of the set fed to the concept. The physicality/character work of these actresses were stunning. Relationship to each other was noticeable and relatable. Script itself keeps the audience entertained and invested…always a journey with J.Bailey Burcham’s work which is what makes it powerful in both comedic and dramatic ways….Keeps audience on their toes. AND the Thinking cap moment..nothing else more needs to be said.
What I didn't like
There was a few repetitive moments that lost the comedy because of the repetition or stopped landing with the audience.
My overall impression
Very enjoyable and entertaining production! Such a simple concept and production that Kept the audience laughing constantly and invested when they needed to be. How the words from a page translate to an audience come from not only the script itself (which was so well written) but also what happens in between the words of the script physically. That was my favorite part of this show, those in between moments. As a whole, this team has created a great production! Must see if you haven’t already!
