What I liked
I liked the subject matter and how it was played out. Also liked the small theater (made it more intimate).
What I didn't like
I could not hear some things that were being said. Maybe it was the sound dynamics of the theater or that the actor had her back to us. I thought it was just me but my friends said the same thing. Lastly, I thought that the word “fuck” was over used so it lost its impact and became boring to constantly hear it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s one of my favorite words but in this instance I got sick of it.
My overall impression
Great play! This cast is amazing and their strong and compelling performances brought the intensity to life. Bridget Avildsen was powerful in her silence and when she spoke, her excellent delivery and stage presence commanded your attention. Really enjoyed it!
