What I liked
The stories that Lori and Lenny had to tell about seemingly simpler times that in reality were times of heartbreak and sorrow. Their stories of life that would resonate with women everywhere.
What I didn't like
At times it felt like Lenny was too strong. We all know people who deal with trauma in that way but maybe there could be a button or two to emphasize her feelings.
My overall impression
This production brought up a lot of old wounds for me. Wounds that were buried deep that many just like myself have spent a lifetime suffering in silence. This production was cathartic in many ways for myself and I’m sure for others who watch it as well.
