What I liked

Here is a show about what it is to be an American abroad…how awkward, painful, and ultimately amazing it is…and how it completely changes you forever. Plus, Azo’s solo theater skills are off the chain. This show is a master class in characters and motivated turns! Oh yeah, and I loved the music before and during the show. I was also a fan of the Casablanca jokes. You don’t want to miss this one!

What I didn't like

Azo could do fewer squats as her characters so that I will feel less bad about my own hamstrings of steel. I’m just kidding…as I said, her characters are so embodied and outstanding…I think the show is great the way it is.

OH and PS…what a set! I wanted to sit down on her Moroccan furniture and start eating with my right hand!

My overall impression

Moving, beautiful, well-written and VERY well performed…if you’ve ever lived outside of the U.S., this show will touch your heart. Get ready to laugh, and maybe bring a few kleenex just to be safe.
