I Heart Maroc

What I liked

The set had me feel like I was entering a magical world. And the character work transformed me to that place. The piece was infused with characters that delighted. It made me also heart Maroc!

What I didn't like

The extra seating kept in the space detracts from the space. Would feel better if they were removed so that the space could be fully inhabited by the artist’s story.

My overall impression

This show appears on the surface to be understated but is actually a simple, sweet, well-crafted story done by a very capable character actress. The embodiment was fast-paced and specific and such a pleasure to watch. A simply well-crafted piece of theatre that is only one hour. It finishes early and leaves you wanting more! Congrats!
