Cover Up is a One Woman Show, that brings us through a roller coaster ride of a journey. Through her dance training and ability to go on tour professionally, she found that these moves later in life would serve her to address her own solo movements and what it meant to her, on a very intimate, yet professional level that went against everything she was taught growing up. Judy tackles her strong religion base and what it means to really be a really good girl, and yet finding her own inner voice and sexual passion and desires’s clash with what she was taught at every turn. She forges through, with hope, a dream, and passion for life that kept her going every step of the way, and to find at the end of her journey, it wasn’t the end, but just the beginning! Cover Up Answers many of these questions that she has asked her self time and time again in a riveting, painful and often funny detail. Judy Portrays a variety of characters as well, including her own younger self, a gutsy southern dancer, a Brooklyn Babe, Jersey Gal, and a Viet Nam Vet. This show is funny, touching, and sexy, and the roles are played with conviction to bring to life the confusion, the hell, along with the wonderment and beauty that life will present to us through the years. This show is filled with laughter and tears and a sense of acceptance and comfort knowing that no matter how bad things may seem, no matter how may disappointments, lies, or losses that you may experience, that in the end, life is really worth living!
