Five Short Drives

What I liked

Five Short Drives is a series of five punchy shorts that are standalone vignettes that all take place throughout the fifty-minute show. The idea is that sometimes, the best and occasionally worst thing about being in a car with someone is that there is nowhere to go.

What I didn't like

The second short, “Friends,” had some technical issues. An added laugh track made it difficult for me to understand the actors, but I know I saw this show during a preview performance, and those issues are easily remedied.

My overall impression

Five Short Drives is a fast-paced collection of humorous shorts that, while at times a bit uncomfortable, is definitely a drive worth taking.
