She does a wonderful job of acting out each scene….she differentiates the characters so well, and makes you feel the experience, not just view it.
What I didn't like
I enjoyed the sound effects and music and think she could include even more of those. The program includes pictures of her family whose story she is portraying and it might be nice to have those images as part of the stage. I find it hard to identify critiques as it was so beautifully done.
My overall impression
This is a beautifully written and performed biography. Alma Collins brings humor to her personal experiences that were painful and takes the audience completely into each scene of the story. I have seen it twice and was moved both times.
