What I liked

Visually the neon signage was iconic and will be branded in the cathartic memories I have been given by this incredible performance.

The lead performer, Eva Holliday, has a wide versatility of expression and conveys them with ease and grace.

Holliday’s commitment to the character truly creates an immediate connection with the audience that is, by intention, both manipulative and authentic…or is it?

The direction and technical production was also effortlessly executed. The director, Lucas Nelson, has provided the audience with an empowering message; yet an obtainable one that relates to the humanity of doubt and insecurity.

What I didn't like

The performance was enthralling , professional and engaging. In summary, it achieved everything it was purposed to do with excellence.

My overall impression

Don’t Feed The Bear is an absolutely captivating performance that cannot be missed.

The vulnerability of the brilliant lead (Eva Holliday) transports you through the complex, curious and sometimes terrifying experience of life as we know it.
