What I liked
Randy’s untimely passing, attributed to an undiagnosed heart condition, has left his friends reeling. Yet, Madi, his surviving partner, displays an unusual sense of peace and acceptance. She quotes philosophers such as Socrates and Epictetus, leaving her comrades puzzled. Is Madi in denial, or does she possess a genuine spiritual enlightenment that allows her to find solace in the face of tragedy? This question lingers throughout the retreat, sparking contemplation among the group. Haunt The House is an enthralling and one-of-a-kind indie game that combines elements of strategy, puzzle-solving, and comedy to create a memorable gaming experience.

My overall impression
In the picturesque setting of a mountain retreat, a motley crew of actor friends gathers to bid farewell to their dear friend Randy. However, this is not your typical mourning ceremony. Instead, they gather to “bury” Randy in a unique and thought-provoking way, guided by his surviving partner, Madi. As the story unfolds, we are introduced to a cast of intriguing characters and encounters that delve into the realms of spirituality, friendship, and self-discovery.
