What I liked
It was just a great time from the get go. Spencer’s brand of humor is so charming, as I’ve seen him do ensemble work before (Coaster-Thon Catastrophe), and this was yet another hour of him being an excellent straight man to a world of kukoo around him portrayed with such wit and mischeivousness by the cast around him. It really adds that this cast can sing, and sing really well. It felt like a spoof on Musicals as a genre, and I recommend it to anyone considering giving out music awards. This cast feeds off of your energy. They are just fine without you, but if you relish in them and their improvised moments, they will give you 1000x more back. Saaaaam!
What I didn't like
Roe Moore’s direction is already admirable. If anything can be tightened, tighten even more. Otherwise, my cup is full. GET IT?
