What I liked
The simple and effective set pieces, and the expert sound design make for a truly immersive piece of theatre that helps you forget of what lies outside of the play, and be truly present with the material. My favorite part of No Child Left Behind has to be Makha and her bold, thrilling performance as the sole performer in the play. Her energy is marvelous. Her craft is riveting. This performance is not to be missed!

My overall impression
No Child Left Behind is an innovative and refreshing piece that keeps the audience immersed and completely engaged. Performed by the captivating Makha Mthembu, this piece transports the audience, settles them into the world of the play, and educates them in a seamless and thoroughly entertaining manner.
