What I liked
Their chemistry was beautiful. I genuinely forgot that I was watching a play. Katie Oliver and Dingani Beza are simply honest and wonderful together.
What I didn't like
I was super distracted by her heels in the first scene. They were SO high and her dress was long and I was just terrified she was going to fall the entire scene. I’m glad the shoes were referenced, but I think the line could still work if they were a bit shorter and stilettos. Really took me out of it.
My overall impression
What a beautiful show. Really refreshing to see a plot unfolding where they both want to be together but something drives them apart. There is so much love between them the whole time, and THAT is what makes the show so frustratingly engaging. You root for them the entire time, there was never a moment where they really turn against each other. Just relationship arguments. It was honest, effortless and refreshing.
