What I liked

The depth these actors and the director fought for using minimalistic setting and therefore more physical expression was wonderful. The dance / mute sequences showing subtext and other sides of the 2 main characters were highly expressive, showing how liberated and exhilarated the characters felt when in their own world. Very thought-provoking show.

What I didn't like

Perhaps – despite of the grizzly subject matter – more contrasts of mood might have driven home the story line even more? Perhaps the arguing of death sentence or not could have made even more impact if it weren’t just the defense and prosecutor arguing as one expects these arguments from them. Or this could have been brought in by talking about what people in Chicago / the US etc think about this. This could have made it a bigger subject, as we still have ALL of this happening today.

My overall impression

A show that uses its intimate venue to engage the audience and make it think. Well done!
