A historial/political drama, on par with any professional production I've seen of the genre. Smart, well-paced and relevant. Made me think about the tracks that have been laid to get us where we are as a country today. ...

This show ran so smoothly. No hiccups and engaging from start to finish. Lucy Gillespie condenses and explains the complexities of campaigning in a way that any audience member can follow. Her writing humanizes larger than life historical figures and unveils their character in a relatable way. Great writing, great directing, great acting. Political theatre often revolves around idea, but Son of Bitch successfully makes politics about people instead of heady principles. Would see again. ...

Impeccable performances all around concerning a moment in US political history that predicts our contemporary troubles. Ben and Luke's respective portrayals of Atwater and W. Bush are utterly persuasive....

I loved it. Start to finish, I was leaned forward in my chair. The writing really sang and I think Billy Ray's direction made great use of the theatre in the round and let the actors all really shine. Favorite show I've seen so far....
