Theater Asylum & Thymele Arts bring Crazy Horse: A Dream of Thunder to Hollywood Fringe 2019

Theater Asylum & Thymele Arts debut Sam Wright’s awarding-winning one-man show at Hollywood Fringe 2019 for five performances June 21-22 & 27-29.
Wright’s self-written piece about the iconic Lakota Sioux chief, Crazy Horse, won Best of Venue at KC Fringe 2016 and a 2016 Best of Kansas City award. It has appeared internationally in Brighton Fringe 2016 and Edinburgh Fringe 2017. John Henningsen, founder of Thymele Arts, is excited to reunite with his Emporia State University alum, Wright, to stage the show in Thymele’s California Room at this year’s Hollywood Fringe.
Directed by lauded British writer/performer/director Nicholas Collett, Wright’s performance employs simple props, a blanket, a feather, and headdress, to portray a dozen characters in the life of Crazy Horse.
