Same Room is a wonderful example of the “lie that makes us realize the truth.”
Even though the premise is very surreal, it still felt very accessible.
Pierre’s dialog feels hauntingly familiar to anyone who has been in a toxic relationship, she delicately explores both sides, causing you to constantly shift your alliances. Combined with Sheeks’ and Pierre’s excellent acting, the whole piece moves quickly and leaves you breathless at times. Excellent fight direction, as well.
What I didn't like
Honestly, I wouldn’t change a thing.
My overall impression
A tightly written, hauntingly truthful psychological thriller about learning to speak the truth with love.
