Hm. I had thoughts about the ending, but don’t want to spoil anything for anyone reading this.
My overall impression
Mr. Yunioshi is a 50 minute gem – a smart and original piece of satire, that sheds light on one of the most infamously racist performances in cinema history. J Elijah Cho has a dry and effortless touch as both performer and writer, deftly balancing absurdity, sincerity and darkness. I do not know Mr. Cho, but look forward to seeing more from him.
