I loved how minimal it was. It goes to show that you can tell a great story with nothing more than your bodies. There is no set, no props, and neutral costumes. I love this form of theatre and would love to see more of it.
What I didn't like
There were some timing issues, but that is to be expected when performing in the style of Del Arte. Even though the show was scripted, there was a lot of improv and audience interaction. Timing will always be an issue in such an environment. But, for every joke that missed, 10 more hit with a stellar landing!
My overall impression
Death and the Fool was brilliantly performed. The actors clearly devoted a lot of time to honing their bodies to perform intense physical theatre. It was a rollercoaster of emotion. I very much enjoyed it!
