What I liked
I loved the nuance presented in every scene and topic that was addressed, and how no one point of view is more valid than another. I enjoyed the intimate setting and the small cast, the great writing and the amazing acting. I particularly enjoyed Megan Rees’ portrayal of the character Cassandra. I was impressed with her nuanced choices and her high level of emotions that were played believably. Her vulnerability drew you in and the chemistry of the three leads made you invested in the story. I would highly recommend this show.
What I didn't like
I would like to see this as a 90 minute show, but I know that fringe has very strict time constraints.
My overall impression
I enjoyed the masher. It was a heightened reality of issues that are very much applicable or relatable to everyone in some form or another. A very powerful piece about vulnerability, love, hate, hope, sorrow, and justice.
