What I liked
Jannica has a creative way of beginning the play that I haven’t seen any solo artists do before. I loved the many different wigs and the sequence in which she tried them all on to show how each one was a new personality. SPOILER ALERT The character of Google was hilarious and on-point. Eyebrow and eyelash were clever and so adorable. The feather boa was perfect for eyelash! I so appreciated that she ended the play on a hopeful note that left us wanting to accept ourselves more than we did before when we walked into the room. This show is perfect for college or high school audiences. Especially high school, when teenagers are just beginning to find their identities.

A few of the characters were similar to each other
My overall impression
Jannica is your new best friend. Or at least, you want her to be! Her charm, ingenuity, and unabashed acceptance of herself and others radiates through her in this piece. Her story is unique and I hope everyone gets to witness her self-acceptance journey and learn from it like I did.
