LOYALTY TEST is an absurdist comedy of menace about a Muslim American man who is compelled by the newly-formed U.S. Department of Allegiance to take a test of loyalty. It combines the offbeat, irreverent peril of Martin McDonagh with the breezy dialogue pace of Aaron Sorkin, wrapped in the ominous social-political satire of Dr. Strangelove. The reality of the story is one slightly adjacent to ours, but perhaps observable just over the horizon if you squint. Its writer, Jacob Lewis, is currently a story analyst for Netflix, with previous experience at Lucasfilm.
