What I liked

The original songs are great— some are funny, some are just sincere and moving. They clearly all come from a real place. I also really liked the bold move of incorporating so much audience participation into the show, which keeps things interesting and bizarre. When audience members were reluctant to go on stage, I wanted to yell, “come on, this is Fringe!” If ever there was a place to put on a show like this, it’s here, with the theater kids.

What I didn't like

There were some transitional moments that needed to be smoothed out, but I saw the performance at the very beginning of the run, and think this type of issue comes with the territory.

My overall impression

This is an absurdist, experimental experience with witty lyrics and a vulnerable, heartfelt tone that draws you in. To me, it was about feeling like an outsider, but channelling that into something creative and fun.
