A hilarious new adventure-comedy play written, directed and produced by Jessica Rose Felix exploring failure, finding your place, and why Trader Joe’s bananas are so cheap.

Meet Harvey Dagner, a young archaeology PhD failure at the end of his rope. His mentor professor Dr. Richard Santiago, the only person to ever believe in him, has faked his own death in order to steal Harvey’s research on a forgotten tribe of Mayans called the Chicomulcatec. Dr. Santiago now lives as a masked Machiavellian tiki-god known only as “El Tom” and holds the Chicomulcatec captive in a prison-state banana empire built on violence and virgin sacrifice. On an errand for his over-sharing, filter-lacking mother Edie at the local Tiki Tom’s, Harvey witnesses the murder of a fugitive Chicomulcatec that lands him kidnapped and shipped to Guatemala where all his research is finally proven true in the worst way.
