What I liked

The sheer scope of this show is amazing. I can’t believe how relatively cheap the ticket was considering the length of the show and the number of actors and locations. The acting is strong, the scenes make excellent use of the locations, and it all builds to a satisfying conclusion (even if I can’t quite say what everything meant).

What I didn't like

I also experienced some trouble with the headphones, but that was mainly user error (pressing what I thought was the power button resulted in me popping out the data card, but once I figured that out, everything started working). They could scrap the headphones, but once it worked it was such a great effect, that I’m hesitant to recommend that. Perhaps having the character turn them on and place them directly onto the audience member? That would have worked in my scenario, although maybe that is not practical in all of the different paths.

The only other thing is I could have done without the jaywalking, although I understand why it was done.

True, there are some storylines that get lost along the way, but I loved the glimpses I caught, and I certainly understood more of what was happening here than I did in Sleep No More (and I say that as someone who loved Sleep No More).

My overall impression

Easily the most ambitious Fringe project I’ve ever seen. This company took on a monumental task and took a monumental risk, and for me, it absolutely paid off. The show is not completely free of problems (and I’m glad I waited to give them a week of performing before I attended), but the strengths far outweigh any weaknesses. HIGHLY recommended.
