Tomas Galván & Gimena Herrera, starring in Heart and Fire Tango Walking were mesmerizing from the moment they set foot on stage. Whether dancing a smooth, sultry and elegant Tango Salon, a fast paced, whimsical milonga or vals cruzado (tango waltz) they flowed effortlessly from one romantic theme to another. Their fluid movement and connection often reminded me of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. And performing in a smaller theater made their intimacy that much more impactful. No ensembles. Just a couple dancing beautifully. I hope there is a reprise performance in the near future.... full review

An outstanding performance! A beautiful love story told through music and flawless dance…every step perfectly executed. Performances started on time and lasted for 70 minutes with no intermission, where Tomas and Gimena engaged in meaningful and inspired confrontations, ranging from mischievous to furiously sensual but all equally fascinating. ... full review

Wow what an amazing show! Thomas and Gimena were fantastic as dancers and story tellers is this wonderful production. They were playful, dramatic, raw and sensual as displayed through their masterful execution of Argentine Tango. Here in Los Angeles we get to see the best Argentine Tango dancers in the world on a regular basis, but this was something special. This was story telling through dance on whole new new level.
