Use of stage was also quite clever, as they use fairly limiting sets in an effective manner. None of the props on stage are placed without some purpose and express their symbolic or literally meaning effectively. I love everything about this show. Definitely a hidden gem in Fringe.
What I didn't like
There was one scene that made me quite unnerved. When two characters broke a mirror with the mallets while barefoot, I was worried she would end up stepping on the glass.
My overall impression
What a charming show! As odd as the show’s premise sound, an element that solidifies the dynamic of the show comes of a stagehand who interacts with the audience during the play. Mixing these three characters together, the writer was able to add levity to the young couple’s struggle with Asperger’s. Along with Esther Mira’s beautifully rendered dance and Craig Shields’s music performed in xylophone and hand drum, the play elevates itself into a truly meaningful and unique product.
