What I liked

I enjoyed the way the author adapted the story and language to fit our pop culture moment. It’s a perfect fringe show; classic and irreverent with the bonus of having truly affecting and tight performances. You don’t always see that at Fringe and it comes as a pleasant surprise for such an ambitious project. And the end button is…perfect.

What I didn't like

I thought it all worked well. Olga (played by Chloe Dworkin) was the most clearly distinctive character, due not in small part to Ms. Dworkin’s outstanding performance. Lauren White’s Andre is a close second. Perhaps the other characters in the play could be better distinguished if the piece is further developed.

My overall impression

This is an inventive adaptation of Chekov’s 3 Sisters; the source material clearly lends itself well to the pop culture phenomena of the Kardashians. The performances are tight and compelling. Although it clocks in at 90 minutes, it feels closer to an hour. No lags. Excellent show.
