What I liked

All the actors did a great job bringing a nice balance of depth and comedy to the stage resulting in a lot of laugh out loud moments from the entire crowd.

Also the writing, pacing, and directing was spot on.

What I didn't like

I wanted it to be longer!

My overall impression

One of the best plays I’ve seen to date! I especially enjoyed the Asian actress who played Safia. She was so engaging! Deeply appreciate how this play focuses on the importance of communication and staying true to yourself which, throughout the play, provided so many great examples of empowerment through authentic expression.

I also liked how this show gives audience members a better understanding of the experiences, thoughts, and perspectives of not just those involved in online dating but also those who wish to explore the unconventional.

While enjoying the show I was inspired by the cultural diversity of the cast in addition to the leading roles for LBGQT. It is a great example of how stories like Modern Romance can create a deeper sense of connection and empathy between the entire human race.

Overall this play has a ton of heart and it feels like the world would benefit greatly from seeing something like this on television and in movie theaters.
