I was especially impressed by the witty lyricism and original musical content produced by Lorelei and her composer, conductor, and co-star Raiah Rofsky. Not to mention the upbeat and skillfully executed tap dancing that made everyone want to jump up and dance along. All of that strung together with her strong storytelling abilities made the show a non stop night of laughs.
What I didn't like
The comedic aspect of the show was wonderful but not for the weak of heart. As expexted of a drag show, be prepared for raunchy humor and a lot of sex talk! Overall the jokes were entertaining and unapologetic. Lorelei clearly knows how to laugh at herself.
My overall impression
Lorelei is an incredibly talented artist. Her performance is engaging, hilarious, and candid leaving audiences wildly impressed as the packed house lept to their feet in applause. If you want to take a break from all of the bull shit out there, do yourself a favor and take an hour to experience a gritty and glamourous celebration of queerness.
