Touching and personal true story that triggers a life-changing reevaluation of what's really important. I love that Greg has cast 4 different actors, with 4 different takes on the material. Heartfelt and funny. ... full review

Wow. I wish I could've seen ALL FOUR versions of this show. Greg's concept for "I Died Today" is one that I have yet to hear of. I LOVE it! The same story told from four different people creates an experience like no other at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. That is just his concept. The script itself is very enjoyable and thought-provoking. The story is like a roller coaster of feelings and thoughts that lead to many moments where I audibly said "hmmm..." and after the show, I couldn't help but reflect on my own life. This is what you want in theatre. The actors did a phenomenal job as well. Do yourself a favor and go watch this show as many times as you can and enjoy this great work by Greg. ... full review

It was very existentialist in its approach. Loved also its simplicity in the monologue like prose poetry.... full review

I really enjoyed David Garelik in Greg Lavoi's play "I Died Today". Garelik's performance and Lavoi's storyline was reminiscent of a young Leonardo DiCaprio in "Basketball Diaries". The wisdom of a young-old soul, taking the mirror of his life and reflecting back to us - the audience - warmed the heart, and reminded me about what theater is; speaking from the heart.... full review
