I really enjoyed David Garelik in Greg Lavoi's play "I Died Today". Garelik's performance and Lavoi's storyline was reminiscent of a young Leonardo DiCaprio in "Basketball Diaries". The wisdom of a young-old soul, taking the mirror of his life and reflecting back to us - the audience - warmed the heart, and reminded me about what theater is; speaking from the heart.... full review

This play is a poetic, existential rumination on the nature of being! You will be moved to question your own existence and what it means to live and love for a brief but wondrous time.... full review

I had the privilege of seeing two performances, which were performed by two different actors. I would like to see another show with a different actor because the interpretation of the story based on the actor is quite intriguing. Something I have not seen before and creatively inventive. The story beautiful, insightful, revealing and raw.... full review

"I Died Today" was a fascinating way to evaluate the quality of one's own life. Under the direction of Greg Lavoi (writer and Director) each of the (4) actors presented very different tones of the same play. I had the pleasure of seeing all (4) actors and each felt uniquely different. Absolutely worth your time to see and to be guided down the road of gratitude and appreciation of how we chose to make every day of our lives count.... full review

I saw both the 12:00pm and the 12:30pm show on Sunday, June 24, 2108. I loved the story, the sentiment, the compassion, and the love that was expressed so clearly. It was amazing to me that the same story could be told by two different actors in such a unique way. They both touched me immensely. ... full review

I saw two performances with both actors and they were as different as they were rewarding. If we could “wake up” dead what would we be thinking? How would we sum up our lives? What advice would we give ourselves in retrospect from the beyond? These are a few of the questions that Greg Lavoi has answered for us in this often humorous and simultaneously tender piece. ... full review
