A multi-person play performed by 1 brilliant actress. Joy Nash switches between characters and each character is clearly defined by voice and body language. I laughed and cried and laughed some more, totally awed by this amazing actress/playwright. Thank you, Joy Nash!... full review

I was SO very impressed with this piece. I've seen 2 previews and 1 full production, and each time I saw I felt I was watching something new and something wonderful. The laughs never became rote, the drama never became "been there done that." Joy's story is so hilarious, so heartbreaking, and so incredible that the execution just feels totally original but also very relatable. Definitely my favorite piece of theater so far in 2011, and that's saying a lot. The writing, the performance, and the production quality are just simply perfect. Just proves you don't need flash to just tell a GOOD STORY and engage your audience. ... full review

Amazing show with a talented actor. Seamless transition in portraying different characters; so much so it seemed like there was more than one performer on stage. Joy is in fact, a joy to watch. Can't wait to see where this project goes from here!... full review

Absolutely brilliant! I laughed out loud, I sobbed almost uncontrollably - this show evoked more emotion and raw feeling than I have felt from anything else in a long time. Joy's performance was thoroughly believable, her writing was spectacular and the overall production was brilliant. I was especially impressed by the minimal use of stage equipment coupled with the projections against the backdrop. Fabulous show - everyone should see it!!!... full review

This was my favorite story-telling of any show I saw at The Fringe. I was completely involved in this woman's journey and was laughing out loud from the writing, timing of the actress, and specificity of the characters Joy morphs into. I also was deeply moved and left with something more than I came with- an amazing feat. I look forward to seeing what work this artist will bring us in the future.... full review
