What I liked
A tale of the Everyman, while seeking Fame and Fortune in Dystopia (Hollywood), nearly succumbs to Temptation and the existential moral dilemma she seductively thrusts upon him: Do the Right Thing, or Get the Golden Fleece and the Girl. I can’t help but ask myself, what would I really do in David Mayes’ shoes?
Mr. Mayes donates a percentage of his proceeds to charity.
What I didn't like
It’s obvious, at least to me. that Mr. Mayes needs a space with a larger stage and seating, and more time. I was “A-Mayes-d” what this production packed inside of 30 minutes in a very intimate space. What would happen if he had more time for other guest appearances and musical performances with a larger studio audience?
And I’d like to see Mr. Mayes sing some Ratpack stuff, maybe a duet or two with GGG.
