Loved the myriad Burning Man references, as it can make an audience member feel like an insider. Really loved the simplicity of staging, and use of lights, and soft music in just the right places.
What I didn't like
My overall impression
This was one of the first solo shows I’d been eager to check out. The title was brilliant. There’s a great joke in this show about the state of Tinder now, that ends up being what we are treated to. David rapidly exposes all the frustrating, heartbreaking and horrifying incidents, some on repeat, that have happened and are probably still happening to him, as he explains his creative process in the program. And just when I needed a breather as an audience member after a rapid fire 20 minutes, David gives us exactly that, as a major story makes a turn, and keeps us invested far longer than a cheap quickie swipe.
