This is a terrific little musical. Current, relevant, and full of heart. You can tell there's a talented group of people behind the scenes who put this show together. The writing and music stand out as the bright gem at the center of it all, but the cast was equally outstanding in well-realized roles. I loved it!... full review

I went into the show, for some reason, thinking that his would be a one-woman musical. Far from it. This was a large cast (8) musical, executed well, with strong song and dance, and great effects. This was the exact opposite of Robot Monster: The Musical. This is a good thing. [...] We found this to be a very enjoyable production, and predict you will as well. If not, well, there are always soup cans. For the full writeup, see http://cahighways.org/wordpress/?p=13040... full review

This show is unbelievable. Mind-blowing. Powerhouse performances all around, the parody is not only that, but also a sophisticated, darkly comedic, and thoroughly organized take on an already ridiculous situation that it feels like a true Broadway production. IT'S THAT GOOD.... full review

Funny, funny stuff happening at Insuppressible but the show also deals with the serious (and scary) side of Leah's experiences. Great concept that could totally be developed into a full-length piece. Clever writing and catchy music! I look forward to seeing more from this team! ... full review

An enjoyable musical parody. (Especially if you've seen her recent TV show Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath.)... full review

Definitely had potential to be great, but it was just alright. While the actress playing Leah was dead-on with her characterization, the rest of the cast wasn't quite there.... full review

Loved this show! It was a real journey for the lead character - not just wacky and silly (although it certainly was) but also emotional and heart felt. The entire cast was fantastic - and the direction and innovative costume and prop design was stellar. Bravo to all!!... full review

Funny and entertaining. The performers were (by and large) strong comedians who knew how to land the material. Some decent songs (along with some that need a final push towards a memorable melody). I appreciated the economy of the storytelling but do think a little more room to breathe will allow her journey a little more emotional (and comedic) resonance. Her concern for Shelley's disappearance appears to be key, and could use a little more focus. Remini's story is a kind of "deal with the devil" tale -- to what extent will we sacrifice our own integrity for personal gain? I wonder if we should get more of a sense of the choice she is weighing and why it's difficult for her. The show is reaching for some emotional resonance at the en... full review
