I was very surprised to see an Asian American actor defend for what he believes. The message is extremely powerful and should be shared with all others even of other races outside of the Asian race. It brings awareness to people in the industry and others outside of the industry. Extremely compelling storyline and overall play. ... full review

Paul Yen's "Secret Identitiy Crisis" successfully vocalized and expressed the major issue of whitewashing in the film industry as one that needs to go and proves that that proper Asian-American representation would not only be better for the industry, but required for the next generation to have inspiration in life, and the stories themselves would not be all that different. I enjoyed Paul's way of storytelling. It flowed really well with his visuals, costumes, and sound effects. He invited you into his struggle as an American who is Asian living in today's America. His storytelling flowed so well that the one man show didn't even seem like a one man show. Great job Paul!! Thank you for sharing your story!!... full review

It was an interesting way to express what many minority groups are experiencing in the US. He cleverly wove his personal narrative into the re-imagining of classic superheroes in a way that was effective, humorous, and relatable. It was great to see Paul bring so many different characters to life in the span of only an hour! I would definitely recommend this show to anyone interested in seeing a unique perspective about Asian American identity :).... full review
