What I liked

The guy who played Robbie and the girl who sang the song about eggs both had stellar voices. I’m in my mid-20’s, so I can totally relate to everything here, which was awesome. Also glad to see tap dancing in a show!

What I didn't like

The main characters really struggled to sing the songs in the key they’re written in—I don’t know if it was nerves or too high, but the main actress would hit the right pitch and sing a phrase, and then when she would come back in, she couldn’t find the key for the rest of the song.

And this is weird, but the guy who played Linda, who was hilarious, still almost looked like a man to me—it felt like the androgynous character for Sylvia a bit.

My overall impression

Conceptually a smart and fun show, and with a couple of rehearsals and maybe some re-arranging, the singing would be much stronger and the whole show would be a lot more fun.
