Can you give stars? Five. Five stars. Amazing, amazing show. I have a great affinity for shows about bad theatre (and bad one-person theatre in particular) and these actors nailed it. And then I nailed them. With socks. And it was glorious.

"America First" was an absolute blast! I wasn't sure what to expect with these monologues ("bad play," after all, is subjective), but each monologue was it's own special brand of bad, with moments that were cringe-worthy, infuriating, and outright hysterical. 25 cents per sock is totally worth it. Throwing socks during "Pride and Prejudice" was particularly cathartic. ...

This is a MUST SEE show-- especially for those in need of some theatrical catharsis. By inviting the audience to hurl socks at the performers-- and making their pieces especially laden with "triggering" cringe/groaner moments-- Easy Targets lets us get out the displeasure we normally mask under polite nods after shows, and expel some of our general rage at the injustice of the world at the same time. It's like a carnival game on stage-- you purchase as many socks as you like (and trust me, you will like to buy way more than you think) and you hurl them at the performer when the spirit moves you.
